About Me I guess I'll try to keep this faire oriented. This will be my 9th season with KCRF. I think I liked being a gypsy in the scenario best, at least so far. Music I will listen to just about anything, and I'm not just saying that to impress you. :P But, when heading out to faire at the butt-crack of dawn I usually like to put in some Silly Wizards or Scottland Rising. I like our local music groups, but bagpipes are really what get me in the mood to wear a bodice.

TV I don't have a lot of opportunity to watch t.v. but when I do I enjoy watching BAM, Trick my Truck, and Miami Ink.

Books Anything and Everything! I am a book fiend. Shakespeare is my passion. I love poetry. Phillipa Gregory is one of my favorite new authors, and you should definitely read her stuff if you are portraying an Elizabethan court. Also, dig in to Ursula LeGuinn's Earthsea series if you get a chance. If you ever need a book suggestion, I am your girl.

Dislikes Rainy days when you've forgotten your boots. Drunk men who are too interested in how old I am. Funny tan lines. (:

Hobbies Well obviously faire is a big hobby of mine. And reading. I also like to sew and I am usually very involved in making my costumes. I like to do everything from the initial design to the very last beads.

First weekend!

Well Fest started off with a bang! ( Literally... duh!)

I've definitely come to the conclusion that I will NEVER be in Royal Court again, unless of course I am the Queen. Frankly I find it completely boring, the costume is rather unenjoyable, and I rarely ever get to talk to anyone!

But there are up points, such as having lots of special activities to do, getting to sit in the front row of most of these activities, and of course being surrounded by the royal gaurds all day... :P

There were some pictures taken this weekend... I need to find a few of them so everyone can see who I am this year. The one I have up now is, unfortunately, sorely out of date.

Soo... who all is coming out to KC this year?
